The Lenormand Heart card speaks of love, feelings and emotions. The Whip for me is about strife, conflict and discord.

Hi!, Couldn’t Heart+Whip mean= lovers, unfaithful, sexual relationship?, or someone who feels tied?
Thank you. 🙂

Hi Natali,
To be clear, these examples weren’t meant to be all-inclusive. They were showing how card ordering could affect the interpretations.
I wouldn’t say it means unfaithful. For me, that would need to include a card showing problems and mistrust, such as the Snake or Fox.
It could mean a sexual relationship, or more to the point, sexual feelings. Neither of these cards inherently means a relationship. The way I read, the Whip by itself could indicate a sexual relationship. (For some people that would be the Lillies instead.) This is one where, in a real reading, it would depend on the context of all the cards present.
I think I see where you get tied: as in, all tied up, like bondage? I wouldn’t have thought of that, but it makes sense.
Really, it comes down to how the cards speak to you. As long as you know your basic meanings and are consistent in how you interpret, you’ll develop accurate readings, whether it’s pairs like this or full spreads.
Thanks for the question! Sorry it took so long to respond. 🙂
